NEXT Web - Companies
Overview
This article explains how to access and use the Companies area in NEXT. It is intended for all users and covers navigating the Companies page, viewing company details, contacting and editing companies, and searching, filtering, and sorting your companies list.
Before You Begin

You must be signed in to NEXT with an active account.
Accessing Companies
To access Companies, complete the following steps:

Sign in to NEXT.

In the left navigation bar, click More (the ellipses icon).

In the More Options window, click Companies.

The Companies page opens and displays your existing companies.
Navigating the Companies Page
The Companies page displays a second navigation panel to the right of the left navigation bar. Under Companies, you can see the total number of companies in your organization, followed by a scrollable list of companies and the last time there was an interaction with each.
In the scrollable list, the following information is visible for each company:

The company name
-
The company website
-
Time since last interaction
Click on an individual company to open its details on the right. The following sections are visible in the company details panel:
Account Information
-
Industry
-
Value
-
Website
-
Address
-
Phone
Key Metrics
| Field | Description |
| Account Owner | The user who created the company within NEXT. Note: This field cannot be changed. |
| Created On | The date the company was created in NEXT. |
Associated Contacts
The title and email address of each associated contact is visible. Click on the contact’s name to view their full details.
To assoicate a contact, please complete the following steps:

Click the + sign.

In the Associate Contacts window, search for or scroll to find the contacts you want to associate with the company.

Click the checkbox next to each contact you want to associate with the company.

Click Associate.
Creating a Company
To create a company, complete the following steps:

Click + Add Company.

Enter the company name in the Company name field.

Select the Account color — this is the color of the icon next to the Company name field.

In the Account Information section, enter the following details:
| Field | Description |
| Address | The company's physical address. |
| Industry | The company's industry. |
| Phone | The company's phone number. Note: Include the country code (e.g., +1, +44) before the phone number. |
| Value | The value of the company’s MRR. |
| Website | The company's website address. This field is required. |

In the Linked Contacts section, you can optionally link existing contacts to the company. To link contacts, complete the following steps:

Click + Link Contacts.

In the Associate Contacts window, search for or scroll to find the contacts you want to link.

Click the checkbox next to each contact you want to link.

Click Associate.
-

Click Save Company.
To leave the screen, click the X in the upper right corner, or click Cancel.
Editing a Company
To edit a company, please complete the following steps:

Search for and click on the company you want to edit.

Click the text box next to the field you want to change and make the changes.

Click Save account.
Searching for Companies
To search for a compamy, type a company name, industry, or account owner in the search bar at the top of the Companies panel.
Filtering and Sorting Companies
The filter icon, located next to the search bar, allows you to both sort and filter your companies list.
To sort your companies:

Click the filter icon next to the search bar.

Under Sort, choose one of the following options:

Highest Value — Sorts companies by highest value.

Recently Active — Sorts companies by most recent interaction.

The companies are sorted automatically.
To filter your companies:

Click the filter icon next to the search bar.

Under Filter, choose one of the following options:
-
All Companies — Displays all companies in your organization.

High Value (> $100K) — Displays all companies worth more than $100K ($100,000).

The filter is applied automatically and appears at the top of the company list.
To remove a filter, click the X next to it, or click Clear All.
NOTE: Only one filter can be applied at a time. If no companies match the selected filter, the following message appears: No accounts found. Try adjusting your filters or clear them to see more results.
