NEXT Web - Team Chats Conversations

Overview

This article explains how to create and manage conversations in Team Chats, including starting new chats with one or more teammates and sending messages.

Before You Begin

• You must be signed in to NEXT with an active account.

• To access Team Chats, click the Team Chats icon in the left navigation bar.

Creating a New Team Chat

To create a new team chat, complete the following steps:

1. Click the + New button in the upper right corner.

2. In the New Conversation window, click the drop-down arrow in the text box below the To field.

3. Search for or use the scroll bar to select the teammate or teammates you want to chat with.

4. Click Continue.

NOTE: If there are no messages in the chat, the following message is displayed: No messages yet. Start the conversation by sending a message.

Sending a Message

To send a message in a team chat, complete the following steps:

1. Type your message in the text box.

2. Click the + sign and select Upload a File to attach a file to your message.

3. Click the smiley face icon to insert an emoji.

4. Click the two Ts icon for additional text formatting options.

Returning to the All Team Chats View

To exit a direct message and return to the All Team Chats view, click the back arrow.
