NEXT - Meetings
Overview
This article explains how to use the Meetings section in NEXT. The Meetings screen allows you to view your scheduled meetings, start an instant meeting, and schedule upcoming meetings. It is intended for all users.
Before You Begin
-
Your NEXT account must be active and login credentials received.
-
Participants you invite must have active NEXT accounts or valid email addresses.
-
A meeting supports a maximum of 10 participants.
-
NEXT does not support persistent meeting rooms. Each meeting is a single-use session.

Click Meetings in the left navigation panel to open the Meetings screen. The screen displays a weekly calendar view of your scheduled meetings.
The date navigation bar at the top allows you to move between weeks:

-
Click the date range (e.g., 4–10 May) to open the date picker and jump to a specific week.
-
Click the left or right arrows to move to the previous or next week.
-
The current day is indicated by a blue dot above the date.

Meeting Behaviour and Limitations
Keep the following in mind when using Meetings in NEXT:
-
Participant limit — Each meeting supports a maximum of 10 participants.
-
Scheduled meeting links — The meeting link for a scheduled meeting expires when the meeting's end time elapses. For example, if a meeting is scheduled to end at 11:00 PM EST, the link will no longer work after that time.
-
Scheduled meeting start — A scheduled meeting becomes joinable when its start time elapses. There are no persistent or always-on meeting rooms.
-
Instant meetings — An instant meeting ends when the last participant leaves. Once empty, the meeting cannot be rejoined. To continue, start a new instant meeting.
-
Meeting reuse — Meetings cannot be reused. When the host leaves a meeting, that session is closed and cannot be rejoined by anyone.
-
Instant meeting duration — An instant meeting can remain active for up to 24 hours, as long as at least one participant remains in the meeting.
