Product Enhancements

Add "lastInserted" Date Range Filter To Contact Object

Description of Enhancement:  An enhancement was made to Nextiva Contact Center, to allow filtering contacts by their last inserted or updated date. Agents can now search for contacts using date-based ranges such as today, this week, last 30 days, or custom date ranges. The enhancement also includes timezone-aware filtering to ensure results align with the agent’s local session time.

Bug Fixes

Layout with Searchable Dates

Description of Issue: An issue was identified in Nextiva Contact Center, where longest call date information for contacts was not displayed or filtered correctly. Call duration dates could appear as raw system values instead of readable dates, and users were unable to reliably search or filter contacts by longest call date ranges. In some cases, inconsistent data formatting also caused query and performance issues.

Current Status and Resolution Description: Resolved: A change was made to Nextiva Contact Center, to improve how longest call duration data is stored, displayed, and filtered. Longest call dates now appear in a human-readable format, date range filtering is supported for contact searches, and backend optimizations were added to improve query consistency and performance on large datasets.

Duplicate Conversations Due to WhatsApp Number Format Mismatch

Description of Issue: An issue was identified in Nextiva Contact Center, where duplicate WhatsApp conversations could be created due to inconsistencies in how WhatsApp addresses were formatted and matched. In some cases, the system was unable to correctly identify existing conversations, resulting in duplicate conversations.

Current Status and Resolution Description: Resolved: A change was made to Nextiva Contact Center, to standardize WhatsApp address formatting for both inbound and outbound interactions.
